About Me
As a therapist, I will provide you with a protected space for your thoughts, emotions, and experiences to be heard, felt, and kept safe.
I work from a holistic approach in which the support I provide looks at you as a whole rather than merely single parts or concerns. I feel that much of what we experience is interconnected and we often tend too unknowingly, but habitually, continue the same patterns that do not serve us. I often integrate techniques from multiple theoretical approaches to suit your personal concerns and preferences, and I focus on what will promote your healing and self-growth.
I aim to be fully present with you and not only provide you support but also provide you judgement-free objectivity to widen your perspective on possibilities. At no point will you be criticized or judged; I will gently and warmly confront and challenge you when necessary while listening, reflecting, and aiming to understand.
I'm not in the business of giving answers, advice or directives; I am, however, in the business of helping you learn more about yourself and your experiences while providing insight, education of complex factors, clinical perspectives, and validation of your experiences. I work to keep you mindfully present while we address unfinished business, plans for the future, and find a way for you to really live your life today.
I began in private practice in 2021 where I’ve been able to focus on and strengthen my competence with working with those dealing with childhood and complex trauma. I have years of experience in working with clients on processing and healing trauma, while also working with many to conquer chronic, challenging issues and traits examples including: perfectionism, procrastination, self-sabotage, unjust and harsh self-criticism, people-pleasing behaviors, imposter syndrome, lack of direction and motivation, romantic or family relationship issues, depressive and anxious symptoms, and experiences with grief. I am EMDR trained and continuously attend trainings surrounding trauma, its impacts, and its treatment.
I do my best work with self-doubting or overwhelmed women and men who are drained from self-criticism, constantly judging themselves, feeling disconnected from and unfamiliar with parts of themselves, and are experiencing stress, anxiety, sadness, guilt, or loneliness. I also do my best work with healers wanting to do their own healing. Ultimately, I do my best work with those who serves as everyone else’s ‘Therapist’, literally or figuratively, and are exhausted with being The Strong Friend.
I aim to provide you with the safest space to promote you transforming your relationship with you inner-child, inner-critic, emotional experiences, self-love, and self-acceptance.

People are capable of anything, including you being capable of growth and change.

You may not know it but you are your biggest strength, and therapy is ran with you in mind. You're human with real emotions, complex relationships, and unique experiences, and you can be considered the ultimate expert of your own life. The goal of therapy is never to ‘change’ you but rather to help you be mindful, shine light on the control we often miss, and connecting closer to all parts of yourself.
Your therapy journey will have structure, but it is guaranteed that your journey will be uniquely yours. With this said, I want to stress that there is no rush to your process and progress, nor will there be any expectations of you or your outcomes.
Your goals, process, and progress are determinant upon you, the investment made into your self work, and how much of a commitment you hold to the process. Results of therapy are not guaranteed and the outcome of the results depends on the effort and work you put in for yourself. The work includes taking purposeful steps towards self-improvement through self-healing, self-care, and self-acceptance.
I ask you to keep an open mind to vulnerability; not a commitment to withstand the discomfort, but rather the commitment to be curious without judgment. A commitment to the process in turn could help you develop the skills you need, may have needed in the past, and may need in the future to handle major events, transitions, and everyday life challenges.

Therapy at times can be very uncomfortable and there will be sessions that are heavier than others. With that said, therapy could also be the safest place to authentically experience yourself and flourish. You are capable of healing and when you're ready, I'll be ready to walk right next to you down your path of self-compassion, self-acceptance, and self-love.
